Accreditation

Learning objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:  
  • Discuss key abortion related skills OBGYN residents should be able to perform upon program completion.
  • Compare anticipated skill acquisition between residents (PGY3 and PGY4) in abortion restricted and protected states.
  • Compare anticipated skill acquisition between residents (PGY3 and PGY4) considering abortion training important when applying to programs with those considering training less important.
  • Review current literature regarding bleeding complications and coagulopathy in second trimester fetal demise.
  • Discuss the incidence of bleeding complications and abnormal coagulation studies in second trimester demise. 
  • Discuss the impact of duration of demise on bleeding complications and abnormal coagulation studies in second trimester demise.
