In 2022, the Society hosted a live webinar, Billing and coding: How to get paid for the work that you do, which explored payment advocacy and action from a national perspective. This 60-minute on-demand webinar explores advocacy and action from the individual perspective.

Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, researchers, social workers, health educators, and other healthcare professionals.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Understand the “big picture” of how your work is valued and the incentives inherent in that system
Optimize coding within practice constraints using global packages, modifiers, and ultrasound billing
Document more efficiently by reviewing common family planning codes and applying recent evaluation and management (E/M) changes

Physicians: The Society of Family Planning is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Society of Family Planning designates this internet enduring material for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
