In this webinar, attendees will learn about methods and components of self-managed abortion, as well as best practices when caring for people interacting with the formal healthcare system before, during, and after self-managing their abortion.
Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, researchers, social workers, health educators, and other healthcare professionals. 
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:  
  1. Define self-managed abortion.
  2. Describe a harm-reduction approach to self-managed abortion.
  3. Explain legal considerations for patients and clinicians related to self-managed abortion.

Physicians: The Society of Family Planning is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Many societies and credentialing bodies accept accredited CME activities as long as the topic is relevant to the applicant’s field or discipline.
