Endocrinology and family planning was recorded in 2016 to serve as an educational resource for the Complex Family Planning and Ryan Residency Training Program communities.
This webinar was originally developed for Complex Family Planning fellows, Ryan Residency Training Program faculty, and Ob-Gyn residents.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  1. Use estrogen and progestin agonists and antagonists based on their different biologic activity.
  2. Explain side effects of hormonal contraceptives based on differential tissue and steroid receptor binding sites.
  3. Discuss the risks and benefits of different contraceptive methods for women with complex medical problems.
