In this webinar, attendees will learn about methods and components of self-managed abortion, as well as best practices when caring for people interacting with the formal healthcare system before, during, and after self-managing their abortion.

This webinar was recorded before the Supreme Court decision Dobbs. Jackson Women's Health Organization, and as such references to state abortion laws may be outdated. 
Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, researchers, social workers, health educators, and other healthcare professionals. 
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:  
  1. Define self-managed abortion.
  2. Describe a harm-reduction approach to self-managed abortion.
  3. Explain legal considerations for patients and clinicians related to self-managed abortion.
