Describe standardization of early pregnancy loss care guidelines in the UK and Canada. Provide an example of integration of early pregnancy care into family planning service delivery with attention to: building referrals, finances, and patient-centered care. Demonstrate how this approach can address disparities in access for abortion and miscarriage patients.
Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, researchers, social workers, health educators and other healthcare professionals.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  1. Identify websites and research papers relating to the standard care of women with Early Pregnancy Complications.
  2. Network with North American Health Care Providers interested in providing Early Pregnancy Loss Care.
  3. Develop a proposal to add Early Pregnancy Loss Care to their family planning and contraception services.
  4. Justify the advantages of combining these services.
